Sea Change (Spring 2004)
These works represent my return to the studio environment after a long hiatus of traveling and working independently. All were done at UAA in Anchorage, Alaska during the Spring semester of 2004. All are a combination of materials and media, though viscosity monotypes are the basis of most. Many of the pieces here have been shown in the UAA Campus Center Gallery and Kaladi Bros. in downtown Anchorage. The repetition of subject has allowed me to focus on the different ways in which to approach and execute the various materials at my disposal. I am very happy with the final products and will continue adding to this gallery as more are completed.
