West Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) is presenting its International Juried Print Biennial in PSAD’s Bill Ford Galley within the art school’s 2D and Graphic Design Building, March 3-April 14, 2022. U.S. and international artists are eligible to submit a total of three artwork entries. The exhibition will consist of original printed works of art or works where printmaking plays a major role in the work’s execution. All work must have been executed within the past three years. Entries are due by January 13, 2022. The juror is Aaron Coleman, noted printmaker and assistant professor of art at the University of Arizona. The entry fee is $35.
Cash awards totaling $1,750 will be awarded: Grand Prize $1,000; Second Place $500; Third Place $250.
A 30% commission will be applied to all sales. If work is not for sale (NFS), please specify and indicate an insurance value.

A maximum of three digital images may be submitted through CaFÉ for jurying. Accepted work that differs markedly from the digital image may be disqualified by PSAD. Please include a recent curriculum vitae with your artwork submission.
Accepted work must be sent prepaid in sturdy, reusable crates or cartons. Size of shipping container must conform to UPS and United States Postal Service size restrictions. Damaged or improperly packed crates will be returned at owner’s expense. Work must be received by February 17, 2022.
Artists are responsible for costs of delivery and return of accepted works. Accepted work will be returned via Federal Express. Please include a pre-paid return shipping label with the delivered work. FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box, please include an alternate return address if applicable.

Since its founding by West Kentucky Community and Technical College in August 2008, PSAD has expanded its facilities and programs through the opening of three new buildings – the 6,700-square-foot Ceramics and Small Metals Building, sited adjacent to the 7,000-square-foot sculpture building, and the 2-D and Graphic Design Building. This landmark 32,228-square-foot historic building now houses PSAD’s programs in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, fiber arts, visual communication, and multimedia, as well as the 1,600 square foot Bill Ford Gallery. All PSAD programs are supported by state-of-the art studios and equipment.
West Kentucky Community and Technical College is a regionally accredited college recognized as an Aspen Prize Top 10 Community College five times by the Aspen Institute and named a Finalist with Distinction three times.
